‘Fatou Fetch the Water’ by Neil Griffiths. This story set in the Gambia, Africa. It is about a girl called Fatou who gets distracted on her way to fetch water for her family.

‘The Water Princess’ by Susan Verde. This story is about a young girl who has to walk a long way every day to help her mother to collect water for the family. Based on the experience of the model Georgie Badiel, who grew up in Burkina Faso, Africa.
